IMPACT

Entry Level and Stage I Programs

Description:
The Early Childhood Resource Center's IMPACT Entry Level & Stage I Programs were created in order to provide opportunities for people of color to develop, increase and upgrade their skills in Early Childhood care and Education. The Programs started in 1991 to build capacity in communities of color for the healthy development and education of children

The foundation of the IMPACT Entry Level and Stage I Programs is the cultural component provided by our Cultural Dynamics Education Project. It is intended that this series of multi-cultural, in service workshops will help increase awareness of various cultures. Each workshop is certified for three in-service hours.

The IMPACT Entry Level Program is a six week, 33 hour training providing basic entry level courses on topics such as behavior, development, first aid, parent communication and business management.
